The client had a general idea to have a functional audiobook app and to launch mass production of high-quality audiobooks in Ukrainian, and tubik built a modern product around it, which evolved as abuk’s team grew, and shaped into a consistently strong brand.

Challenge
iBilly already existed in a different form, and we needed to implement a change of focus and audience retention. We had to think carefully to cater to existing users and take into account their feedback as well as the needs of a new audience.

To add originality, sophistication, and meaningful message to classification by genres, designers marked each genre with its own unique illustration. The digital artworks demonstrate consistency in the stylistic concept. But at the same time, they make each category look different and establish the needed emotional background through visual symbols and metaphors as well as color and tone combinations.

The book covers were designed in the diversity of styles. Some of them were focused on a visual symbol from a book presented with a 3D model. The other ones, more complex and artistic, featured unique illustrations adapted for mobile devices. This approach not only increases the originality of visual design presentation but also helps to transfer the emotion of any book effectively.
